Happy Friday my friends. I hope all is well with you. The recovering from the Rona is going quickly. We brought mom from the hospital to stay at our house for a few days while this weather clears up and I’m able to get back and forth to her house without having to bust through snow drifts in our driveway. Thankfully we have a guest room, unfortunately the bed is too high for mom, so we are sleeping in the guest room on the trundle bed and mom has the bed in the master bedroom. It’s not horrible, it’s a bit like an adventure, thankfully Joe is a very good sport and very supportive of the entire situation.
It appears mom’s heart is giving her a bit of a time. It’s possible it’s from the Covid virus, or dehydration, or a different virus she’s fighting. No real concrete answers as of yet. She does have six stiches in her hand, which will need to be taken out on the 19th. We will see how things go.
I’m excited to announce we have a new page! It’s for my clay work. Right now it’s mostly just a few pictures. There will be updates along the way here and there, but most of it will be here & easy to find with different headings. I’m looking forward to sharing more of my work and of course getting back on the pottery wheel soon I hope.
I loaded my first bisque firing last night. My app for Baby Egan is telling me the run is complete and the kiln is cooling off, it’s at 461 degrees so far. I’m hoping to open it by seven tonight, and hopefully start glazing super soon after that, then run my first glaze fire! Egan is a bit on the small side, so he’s easy to fill up! I don’t think I will have any issues filling him up with work from a weekend. We just might have to get a bigger one….maybe in ten years or so, unless I’ve gone off on a different route.

I hope all is well with you and yours. I want to thank you to those that have reached out and sent us well wishes, I’ve passed them on to mom, she appreciates them very much. There will be updates on the kiln unloading soon. Until next time, hugs to you – Covid free of course.
