Happy soggy, gusty Monday morning friends! And the first day of February to boot! Time sure slips by quick when there’s so much to do! I haven’t put any seeds in dirt yet, but there’s been lots of planning!
I finished the craft room-a bit of a small miracle really! The quilt as you go project for baby Lily is in its final stages, I’ve come up short in the lower left hand corner…I think I might have a fix, we’ll see how that goes. I’ve stitched up six burp cloths also, still 3 remaining to finish. Nothing like getting down to the wire!

I’ve also organized the phone table and started on the den a bit. Get these projects underway & out of the way while it’s cold & yucky out. We managed to get the garage in a place where I can park the car in there again. We’ve been busy this winter & productive! It will be super go time very soon !
Thankfully things have let lose a bit & I’m back to a somewhat functional human-for now. We will see what the coming months have in store for me.
I met with another bride on Saturday. In addition to the 41 pint jar center pieces, She’s asked me to do her bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. I do not know how to do those or how to charge for them. I’m meeting up with the florist tomorrow to learn a few things and see what I can figure out. I’m confident that I can do it, and she’s not completely opposed to using flowers and greenery from a warehouse, so w en if I don’t have what I need, I can find it. Oddly I’m not worried….yet.
If I have my way, there will be 7 or 8 different types of seeds started in dirt this week, hopefully before Saturday. Fever Few, Sea Holly, Artichoke, Yarrow (I have several that have survived from last year, kind of ridiculously excited about that!). Is it horrible I can only remember those? I’m still snuggled into bed -so I don’t have my notebook with me-it’s not time to start sleeping with it just yet!
Hopefully, I’ll have pictures of the seed starting soon. Until then my friends-have a fabulous day-hugs to you!
